Winter Story Hour

Winter sessions will run for eight weeks from January 24 through March 15. Sign up begins January 9 in the children’s room. You may sign your child up for one of the following sessions:

2 – 3 Year Olds
Wednesdays 10:30 – 11:00 AM or Thursdays 10:30 – 11:00 AM
4 – 5 Year Olds
Tuesdays 10:30 – 11:30 AM or Thursdays 1:00 – 2:00 PM

The Merrimac Public Library has subscribed to Rocket Languages. Learn a language with online courses from Rocket Languages, which offers 11 different foreign languages.

The Merrimac Public Library has subscribed to the Freegal Music Service, an extensive library of digital music files ready to download. Genres include: Rythm & Blues, Pop, Latin Pop, Jazz, Country, Classical, and Rock.


Safari Books Online.

The Merrimac Public Library has subscribed to Safari Books Online, an on-demand digital library providing access to over 12,400 technology, creative and business books from leading publishers. Safari Books Online offers immediate access to many books with lots of answers — not just one.


Facebook

The Merrimac Public Library has a Facebook page where patrons can connect with more library information. Facebook members can become a fan of the library page. Fans will receive occasional library news updates.


The Shop Around the Corner…

The Children’s room at the library sells gently used books provided by generous donations from the Merrimac community. Books donated (no VHS tapes please) may be added to the collection or be put up for sale. All proceeds support the children’s programs at the Library.
